Electronic Database Searching        
1.             Locate articles of interest to you that uses classroom-based research. Using UNM electronic education databases search using terms action research, teacher research, practitioner research, teacher-as-scholar, practical inquiry, interactive research, classroom inquiry, or practice-centered inquiry. Locate two article of interest to you that uses classroom-based research. 

  • Annotate each article using the guidelines and bring a copy of the article to discuss.

2.             Continue searching / logging for topics related to your own research interests. Email articles to yourself. The databases are valuable tools in accessing information relevant to your research.
3.  READ TEXT: Hubbard & Power, chapter 3 (Questions evolving)
4.  Let me know via email if you have not set up a class website; also please share the site with me and grant me permission to the site in order to comment.

  1. I ordered Hubbard & Power early last week and it seems to be lost in the mail somewhere (I paid for expedited shipping). Any chance you have a pdf of the first few chapters? Or anyone willing to let Matt & I borrow your copy? Thanks!
