Title page: See below- must include Chair & Committee members

Title Page- Check the Rubric

Make sure your title page meets the expectations of the elementary rubric and that you include an abstract & key words: Check the APA manual for correct formatting

*note- the secondary rubric is not as specific, but I would follow the same

Accurate formatting (font, spacing, margins, running head, page numbers, abstract, key words, headings, and reference list)

Cover sheet including Name, Title, Date of Submission, Chair, Committee Members

Rough Drafts

I believe I have reviewed all rough drafts that were either posted or emailed. If this is not the case please email me as soon as possible. If you need me to re-review or if you have questions please do not hesitate...but be specific in what I am looking for in the re-review. Most of the revisions focused on APA formatting and editing issues- content has been fantastic. Great job!

If you have not submitted a rough draft to me- do so ASAP and make sure to send an email letting me know you have uploaded.

3/11/15 Putting it All Together

Hi folks-

We will meet this Wednesday for one last check in prior to rough drafts being due and final papers being turned in on March 25, 2015. I have been assured that we will have access to our classroom even though UNM is on Spring Break.

Please plan on sharing your data analysis, findings (themes, etc...), and next steps / implications sections. I will be available for individual assistance, so please bring any questions or concerns. Don't forget rough drafts are due March 11-18th...plan on emailing me as soon as you submit your rough drafts so I can keep up with my reviewing.

It has been brought to my attention that Dr. Watkins is requesting she only review the papers upon final submission. I am working with main campus to clarify...if Dr. Watkins has not responded to your attempts to contact or submit, please do not worry. I will gladly review rough drafts, etc...as many times as necessary to insure successfully completion.

590 Class: February 25, 2015

Hi everyone,

Class will be in Calvin Hall in room 177...so I have been told. I have been assured that the room is available and that the technology works. I will get there early and make sure...if we need to move, I will put a sign on the door (as usual).

We will discuss the results and findings sections of your paper. Additionally, you will share your paper development so far with a fellow practitioner. Please have an up-to-date paper or electronic copy of your Action Research Paper to share.

At this point everyone should have made initial contact with their Chair! Hopefully you have heard back! I will be reviewing required submissions over the weekend; both Progress Description 1 & 2 should be posted to your website for me to look over.

Please find your Chair and send an email introducing yourself and your topic / action research question; be sure to include me on the email. Ask your Chair how many times they would like to review your paper and let them know you have required check in deadlines throughout the semester. If your Chair does not want to review your work that many times that is fine, however you will still be required to make contact with them the required number of times by the deadline. I suggest you keep in regular contact with your Chair to insure you are progressing appropriately.

Bring any questions you have to class on Wednesday.

Hello,

Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend! Just to let you know I still have not received confirmation of committees yet from main campus- so, do not worry about submitting to your chair yet. Hopefully by Wednesday night I have that information clarified and ready to share. Your assignment this week is Progress Description 1: Please review your proposal- begin to change sections to past tense, add / modify literature review, and discuss your implementation so far...please turn this into your 590 folder on your website!
