Session 6: In class!

Hope everyone has had a wonderful week or two!!! I have reviewed and returned everyone's assignments up to this point if they were turned into the website. I have reposted the work to individual websites, please email me if you turned something in and have not received feedback!  I enjoyed reading your reflections and feel I have a deeper understanding of where each of you are coming from in regards to both teaching and learning.

Additionally, I have posted the agenda and some articles & materials on the website...check it out. I have also posted tomorrow night's agenda below. See you tomorrow!!

Week 5            Due: Teacher Reflection #3 (posted to webpage)

(9/16- OL)        READ TEXT: Chapter 7-9 (depending on your edition)
                            -Read as far as you can and as needed in drafting your proposal.  
                         Continue to work on the 10 Strategic Points presented in class
                           - Work on narrowing down the question(s)
                           - Building your literature and annotated bibliography  

Session 4: Assignment & Topics

At this point Reflection 1 should be posted to your website and you should have started building your bibliography of researched based articles. You should also have practiced annotating at least two articles from your search last week. Below is a list of topics we will cover in class, please bring your questions! If you had trouble finding articles...we will look at UNM resources and help for searching databases. Trust me, databases are much easier than the old card catalog!! We will also begin to formulate some topic of interest through discussion with your peers...you should be noting the details and beginning to formulate possible topics / questions in your head!
